Premium soft foam blockhead poppers make the best, lightest and easy to make poppers anywhere!

Currently one size is available - the best all around size for nearly all types of bass and other surface feeding fish, including saltwater.

This wedge shaped body shape tracks straight and pushes water, attracting big fish to explode on them.

Poppers are 5/8" by 5/8" at the biggest dimension and taper on both planes.

We recommend using a kink shanked hook, prewrapped with thread to add strength to the super or epoxy glue interface.

We use Mustad 33903 size 4 (not available on FlyBass, at this time) for this size blockhead.

Just received my big trout/bass hopper selection. Everyone of the flies looks well tied and should be dynamite on smallies. Can't wait to try them out when I get to Maine in early June.

I have always been a big fan of blockheads. Only problem has been, where do you locate the bodies? Kudos to Brad for not only producing these, but also offering them for sale. I have used these for a couple of years and they work great and attach to the hook phenomenally well. They cast quite easy even on a five weight rod. Every block is cut perfectly and consistently. AWESOME PRODUCT!!

After years of having other folks cut blockheads on a band saw, flybass realized how deadly this popper is and that there is a big demand for the bodies. No one else in the business sells just the bodies!! I have tied and used many of these. They are cut perfectly, cast like a dream, and simply catch smallies. If you have never fished a blockhead before, you are truly missing out. Order a bunch here and get to work!
